Marília Sousa, 37, discovered her love for confectionery after taking a course in the Santa Marta community, where she has lived since she was a child.

Through the confectionery course, Marília learnt various techniques and perfected them over time. The amount of orders of cakes, sweets and desserts were increasing rapidly and soon appeared @deliciadamel .

The confectioner, who has produced over 200 cakes and thematic pies, had to restructure her business during the pandemic, because she saw sales fall dramatically.

In this same period, Marília learned about the existence of the Hub Project and here she found the necessary support to learn about the administrative part and restructure her business.

The entrepreneur affirms that through the project she broadened her horizons and was able to identify her market niche, potentialize sales and organize the financial part of her company. Her greatest desire is to continue with her dream and expand her business.
