“For those of you who don’t know us, the Santa Marta Sports Centre is a free-of-entry Social Project created in 2004 for the community of Santa Marta in Botafogo.

In the last 16 years, surviving only from donations, more than 15000 people have passed through our doors, including children, adolescents and adults.

Our objective is to offer sporting activities to socially vulnerable members of our community, including sports such as Boxing, Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. We want to show that there are options and the possibility of a better way of life, and that it is possible to meet your dreams.

Our focus is to meet the needs of many more people, and to help them in their social development. Project Hub has been of great help to our operations in terms of planning, organisation, marketing and in capturing funding for the Sports Centre.
