Bárbara Costa de Oliveira, 25, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone, moved to Santa Marta 11 years ago after her maternal grandmother passed away.

Since she was a little girl, Barbara has always been interested in beauty. Her grandmother always encouraged her to follow fashion trends. When she came to live in Santa Marta, her friends always looked for her to do make up.

Seeing that she had a strong potential for makeup, Barbara decided to become a professional in the area. She took international make-up and eyebrow design courses. The activity that started as a hobby has become her main source of income.

For the past 2 years, the makeup artist has had a studio in Santa Marta and always seeks to improve and be up-to-date with the latest makeup techniques and products.

The entrepreneur says she signed up for Project Hub to develop her business and has learned a lot from the classes given by mentor Marcele Porto, where she has been able to put into practice all the teachings to expand her clientele.
